How to Root the HTC Desire C
Got an HTC Desire C smartphone and looking for a simple way to root it? No problem, this guide has you covered. HTC Desire C was launched back in 2012 and it’s still one of the best smartpdones available in the market. Once rooted, you’ll be able to play around with root-only apps on your device, and not only that, but you’ll even be able to flash custam ROMs helping you transform your whole user experience. So here’s how to root your Desire C smartphone:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. You must have unlocked bootloader of your device. You can unlock your bootloader by visiting the
website.II. Downloading Required Files:
III. Rooting the HTC Desire C:
1. Download and place the Suparboot archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn OFF your device.
4. Turn it back on by holding down Volume UP+Volume DOWN+Power buttons together.
5. You should now be in bootloader mode.
6. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.
7. Double-click on install-superboot-windows.bat available on your Desktop.
8. It should start rooting your device, shouldn’t take too long to finish.
9. Once it’s done, you’ll be rooted.
10. You’re all done!
Excellent! Your HTC Desire C has been successfully rooted and you can now go ahead and load your favorite root-only apps on your device!
